Peter Goedvolk gave an exclusive interview for the innovation edition of the Quote 500, about the differences between inventors and innovators.

There is a big difference between Inventors and innovators. First Dutch Innovations connects these groups.

“Inventors and innovators are a different kind people,” Peter Goedvolk, Quote 550 member, explains. “An inventor is someone who goes to see if a plastic bottle can also be made of  different materials. If that works, this person is satisfied. Even if the costs of the bottle comes to 100 euros. Someone who innovates comes up with not necessarily something new, but sometimes only links existing discoveries together. What an innovator pays special attention to is whether the product fits what the market wants. I feel much more related to that.”
