Research and development

Tiny-TIM can successfully predict AUC and Cmax ranking from four different formulations containing sodium salt A6197. A recent IMI OrBiTo research paper by Schilderink and Protopappa et al., describes the investigation of the predictive value of different in vitro systems in a collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim, University of Athens and The TIM Company: “On the usefulness of compendial setups and tiny-TIM system in evaluating the in vivo performance of oral drug products with various release profiles in the fasted state: Case example sodium salt of A6197.”
